Stopped by on the way home from work on a whim.
PIcked up a couple slices (raspberry cream cheese and coconut cream) and a couple of chocolate eclairs for the kids...
Wow. The pies were absolutely killer. Not too sweet. Flaky crust with just the right texture.
The eclairs were decadent and just generally delicious. Definitely gonna make this place an occasional treat.
Among all the sprinkles, smallcakes, crumbl, and other such trendy chain sweets concepts, this is a refresher change of pace. -

First time in. The biscuits looked heavenly, however I'm not a biscuits and gravy store. I chose the oatmeal and took it to go. They gave me yogurt in a cup also. The oatmeal was great with banana slices. Warm right from the oven.
Thanks for something different. Also the pies made my mouth water! -

If there's a bad thing on the menu, I haven't had it yet. The quiche is great, and I'm not sure what they put in the crust, but I look forward to it as much as the filling. The pies, biscuits & gravy, and breakfast sandwiches are excellent, to boot.

I had my first apple pie when I was 4 and there was an old bakery 2 blocks from our Chinese laundry. They baked a few pies each morning and you had to get there early to get one. Fresh baked crust was crunchy and the apple filling sweet. Since then I've been on the lookout for a great pie. I was excited to try Mamma Toledo's The Pie Hole on my visit to Scottsdale.
Apple pie was special ordered and hot out of the oven when I picked it up. Crust was crunchy and delicious. Reminds me of hot apple turnover crust Jack in the Box made in the old days. Filling had a mild apple flavor which was good but not as sweet as Jack in the Box apple turnovers. They make really good pie here but I like the apple filling a bit more at Pie Snob.
I showed up too early to get a cooked chicken pot pie but was able to get a fresh one which I baked myself. Following the instructions I baked it till the crust was golden brown and crunchy. I loved the flavor of the crust which was hot out of the oven with a sweet buttery flavor. The filling with tender chicken and veggies tasted great. It was more like soup than the thick gravy most of the pies I eat have. This is one of the best chicken pot pies I've eaten.
Next time I want to try the pot roast pot pie and the brown sugar peach pie.
